Our 3GPP FDD W-CDMA baseband chip TopHatTM enables unprecedented low power consumption, dual receive antennae capability, and data rates up to 2Mbps full duplex communication. It is available with the software and hardware required for a baseband function from the radio interface up to and including Layer 2 & 3 Radio Protocol Stack.
TopHatTM W-CDMA solution is also offered as Intellectual Property to be integrated in 3rd party dual/multi mode designs (W-CDMA/EDGE-GPRS-GSM). It is provided with a FPGA based development platform allowing specific modifications to match the needs of chip makers / handheld vendors' likings.
