Cellular3G is inviting companies promoting Test-Mobile products and /or Data Card Makers wishing to
develop W-CDMA based equipment described below to contact us for additional information.
Eagle EyeTM is a mobile radio environment test instrument for 3G networks and 3G deployment.
Eagle Eye will fully conform to the 3GPP-FDD specifications for User Equipment,
exceeding the 2 Mbps class capabilities as defined by the standards.
This includes fully turbo-coded uplink/downlink data at 2 Mbps (5.762 Mbps uncoded).
Eagle Eye will enable 3G operators to dynamically analyze and optimize their 3G radio networks.
It will provide full range of diagnostic and logging functions for radio environment testing,
3G network performance measurement and 3G application testing.
A test-oriented GUI will allow initialization and control of a variety of tests.
Eagle Eye will make precise measurements and automatically reports all results to a host PC.
Test-Mobile vendors could profit from such an invaluable tool that would be offered to cellular infrastructure
suppliers including base station developers and network planners.
Eagle Eye will offer 3G operators detailed knowledge of their network,
the ability to optimize base stations operation and improve performance of their network.
This revolutionary product will fit into a PC Card Type II slot. Due to the very low power requirements of the
Cellular3G base-band chip and the power efficient radio chips employed, this unit will operate from the host supply drawing
less than 150mA on average during transmission. This together with the Cellular3G multi receive antenna configuration will ensure
that the ultimate performance is achieved. Using the Cellular3G base-band chip in this product will enable a maximum throughput of
2MBps full-duplex in each direction of coded data. Uncoded, this rate will be close to 6Mbps in each direction, giving a total of around
12Mbps. The highly integrated design of this unit has will enable the provider to enclose most of the electronics in the standard card,
leaving only the antennae outside, requiring only a very small extension to the unit.
